The SAMURAI ART MUSEUM in Berlin Zehlendorf presents extraordinary treasures of samurai art from the 8th to the 19th century. These include armour, helmets, masks, swords, and many other exhibits of Japanese art from this period. To date, there are very few public collections in Europe dedicated to samurai art. With the unique Janssen Collection, the SAMURAI ART MUSEUM aims to provide an insight into the cultural life of ancient Japan and to make these impressive works of Japanese art accessible to a wider public.

Street-safari has been in Berlin since January 2017. It’s an innovative start-up tour by smartphone – organised as a scavenger hunt. Participants solve questions and tasks that are sent to them via smartphone. Just like a city tour, after each question or task the participants receive interesting information about the respective safari station (tourist attraction). The highlight: the safari can be started at any time. Every shot counts! Er … of course: every answer! Because there are lots of points in it as a prize.
